Location, buffet style meals, swimming pool.
The singer in the evening could do with some voice training but otherwise quite good fun.
location, landscape, mountains, nice swimming pool
they charge you all the journey at the first moment you enter to the hotel, little tired furniture in room, strange and noisy pop music in sauna, no potable water in sauna, little towels,
Modest but comfortable hotel redeemed by stunning position on Lago di Misurina.
Quality of food not up to a 4* Grand Hotel.
great and friendly staff, all inclusive was excellent, nice pool, very clean,
evening buffet was very crowed, but if you go little later quite nice; the food standard is not extreme high, but perfectly fine for the money
Excellent accommodation was quiet, beautiful rooms, great food - great selection of great holiday feeling
The location of the hotel next to lake Garda and views of Mountains. Receptionists were of great help.
In my opinion this hotel should not be a 4 star hotel. It was really difficult for me and my family to communicate with the restaurant staff since no one understands/ speaks English. We had to go to reception desk with problems relating to the restaurant.Dinner is served between 7.30 and 9.30 and you have to choose 1 out of 3 main dishes. After just 30 minutes 1 of the main dishes was already finished.
A very romantic position of the hotel, excellent possibilities of relaxation and wonderful trips around.
The food was not good; cold (twice)
The location of this hotel is excellent, backside scenery is marvelous.
The parking lot is somewhat small cp\omparing to hotel size. The bed condition is not good,
I expected a more tasteful dinner for a 4 star hotel
There was very little to like about the Grand Hotel Misurina. To be fair the breakfast wasn't bad but the rest of the experience was not to be recommended.
This hotel is terrible !!!!!!! The staff were rather off hand, the hotel is very big ( in fact size is the only "Grand" thing about this hotel. The service in the dining room and the foof that was presented was terrible, It was more like a British holiday camp than a quality hotel. The dinner arrangements were an insult to anyone - and the quality and taste were disgusting. We walked out without eating anything of the main course and very little of the first course. This is not a 4 star hotel, it should not have any stars at all. If you have to stay here have your dinner in Cortina before your arrive. I would recommend this hotle to any one; if fact I think that you should remove it from the via Michelin list of hotel
Hotel and facilities excellent. Value excellent, would recommend.
Staff around kitchen/dining area appeared overworked but did not complain; otherwise excellent.
I thought the price was for half board, but actually it was for all inclusive, which made it even more reasonable. Our room was clean.
They have their own car parks at the hotel, but they're too few!! If you're not lucky enough to find one for your car, you have to park in their underground garage which costs 5 Euro per day, or in a public one nearby which charges you 1.50 Euro per hour until 20:00! (20:00 - 08:00 is free.) It took us a while until we understood the dinner system. The tables are designated not according to room numbers, but the reservation order, I think. Anyway, it was not so easy to find our table. Some of the dishes are in the buffet, but you can also choose and order from the menu without any extra charge. Wine and beer are also in the buffet, but if you want to drink wine, don't forget to order a wine glass!
Reception was excellent. Balcony view of lake. Kitchen faciliites would have been great if I had a a longer stay planned. Food quality was good for a buffet.
Property was more family oriented that I imagined it would be. Beds were very uncomfortable. Parking limited and had to pay extra for undeground parking. Some restaurant staff seemed overworked and not particulalry customer service oriented...stressed out and tired...maitre'd tried to do his best with the satff he had.
Unlike many comments that I have read before choosing this hotel, I have to say that this is a proper 4-star hotel, with all the features that belong to such a level. The rooms are clean and modern and the staff have been really professional and friendly with us. No need to comment about the location, I think, despite the cheapest rooms are facing the back, which has a view on the parking. We had a great time, even if it was in the crowded August time.
There are no real complaints, but there are a few very minor things that can be improved. In particular, we had read many bad comments about the restaurant. The truth is that the food is good, but not excellent. In other words, you would not probably go there if you had to choose a restaurant, because there's nothing really gorgeous and tasty; it's just satisfactorily feeding you. The waiters are great, it's just the others helpers who look a bit ... lost. The parking was full in August, but you can park from 6pm to 8am for free in the parking down the road. Again an hotel with those useless low-power wall hair dryers. But who decided that they do the job?
